India and Sri Lanka Signed 4 Agreements Including Civil Nuclear Cooperation
Sri Lanka’s newly-elected President Maithripala Sirisena on 16 February held talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi and the two sides inked four agreements, including one on civil nuclear cooperation.
Nagesh Kukunoor’s ‘Dhanak’ Honoured at the 65th Berlin International Film Festival
Filmmaker Nagesh Kukunoor’s film “Dhanak” has bagged The Grand Prix of the Generation Kplus International Jury for the best feature-length film and also received a special mention at the 65th Berlin International Film Festival. He was also endowed with euro 7,500.
Chhattisgarh Govt. Won Award For Renewable Power Development
Chhattisgarh was felicitated for emerging as one of the best performing states in the renewable energy segment. Principal Secretary of Chhattisgarh’s Energy department, Aman Singh was presented this award by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the first Renewable Energy Global Investors Meet (RE-Invest) 2015 held in New Delhi. The state was adjudged this award on the basis of criteria fixed by 13th Finance Commission headed by Vijay Kelkar.
